What is Enlightened Medicine, Health, Healing and Spirituality?

Dhanvantari, the Hindu archetype of healing, health, Medicine, and Enlightened Spirituality

Enlightened Medicine encompasses the idea and affirmation that enlightenment is possible and that it can be attained through balance of body and mind to reflect the Spirit within.

Enlightened medicine recognizes that there is a vast hidden inner consciousness and field of energy that is locked within the human potential.  When awakened fully it manifests all of our hidden higher qualities including wisdom, bliss, light, love and peace.  It also taps into the potential to heal the body and foster this healing in others as well.

Enlightened Medicine is the awakening to the realization that the body, mind and Spirit are
interwoven and that health and healing are integral to our inner enlightenment.

Enlightened Medicine respects ancient medical wisdom and attempts to understand and apply its vast knowledge of the secret inner workings and forces behind and within body and mind while actively appreciating all aspects of Modern Conventional Medicine.  It fosters a marriage between the two to create the best in health, healing, Spirituality and Medicine.

Enlightened Medicine is a broad, expanding thinking and practice that penetrates to the root causes of disease by understanding and experiencing the inner life force, the way this force moves and activates the bodies and the mind and the manner by which these forces become unbalanced in various disease states.

Enlightened Medicine restores optimal health and healing by balancing these forces with many modalities: the 7 types of Yoga, Herbology/Herbal Medicine from around the world, focuses on mostly Vegan healing foods, natural supplements that one can derive more from nature rather than in pills, conventional exercise, manual and manipulative therapies, active and in depth creative pursuits including art and music healing.   It respects evidence based complementary and integrative medicine but also incorporates accepted principles in Chinese and Ayurveda Medicine that are currently being studied as well.

Enlightened Medicine  incorporates the methods of direct energy awakening and healing by those who are in enlightened states or on the road to enlightenment to confer vibrational energy to others to afford their healing of body and mind as well.

Enlightened Medicine uniquely captures the essence of inner kundalini awakening and in this unique time brings it directly into the arena of Medicine.  Long forgotten, the inner dormant kundalini, represented by the Medical Caduceus was actively awakened by qualified ancient physicians and healers.  Its awakening brings about hidden higher states of consciousness while spontaneously healing the body of many forms of ailments and diseases.

Enlightened Medicine stresses the deep inner theory of the inner workings of body and mind:  the subtle bodies, the chakras or energy centers, the movement and flow of energy, and all of the complex areas that are largely forgotten or unknown in the Modern Medicine environment.

Enlightened Medicine embraces the idea of the "Divine Feminine" and the return of the Goddess to health, healing, Spirituality and Medicine.  This means that its basis is rooted in the power of love and positive thinking rather than traditional issues in Medicine that are based in harsh rigid thinking, severe hard and fast rules, fear and control.  It reawakens the art and softer side of Medicine rather than just focusing only on rigid sets of symptoms, diagnoses, and treatments. It stresses the emotional well being and stresses deep Universal Spiritual principles that create a true deep atmosphere of healing, so missing in today's modern medicine clinics and hospitals.

Enlightened Medicine attempts to individually link one's diagnosis, symptoms and disease states with what is happening in a person's mind, heart and inner world, instead of just skimming the surface of what is ailing the person and providing medications to mask the problems.  It attempts to link inner blocks that consist of myriad issues of unresolved pain, grief, trauma, misunderstandings, lack of forgiveness and many other root inner causes that are creating the outer manifestations of disease, all the while respecting the need for complete conventional treatment and diagnosis as well.

Enlightened Medicine creates clinics that are actual living Spiritual Universal temples with ancient and modern healing and Spiritual practices that charge the atmosphere with subtle healing energy that affords an experience of inner peace and grace.

Enlightened Medicine recognizes the power of complete positive thinking.  It emphasizes Medical and Psychiatric wellness instead of the focus on the negative disease state.  It fosters many practices rooted in ancient knowledge and modern cognitive therapy based in Law of Attraction that allows a person to raise their consciousness into a positive healed inner world.

Enlightened Medicine recognizes the need for deep contemplation, prayer and meditation of any kind in a deep and ongoing basis as part of a healing prescription. It is not based in religion but in Spirituality of any understanding for all.  This Spirituality is recognized as the root of healing and enlightenment and its common denominator is the power of unconditional love and the expression of inner Light.

Enlightened Medicine actively teaches the practice of gratitude, contentment, and forgiveness, recognizes its pure healing power on all levels.  It stresses all of the positive aspects of healing including faith, trust, wholeness, contentment, practice of happiness and joy,  integrity, honesty, purity of body and mind, flexible thinking, compromise, balance, and altruism.

Enlightened Medicine does not just speak of these matters, its very basis is experiential to provide many Spiritual, Healing, and Health practices, suggestions, and methods designed to help people evolve their and heal their bodies on an ongoing basis, providing the atmosphere to return for structure, support, and ongoing guidance in all these matters, in addition to clinical visits. The practice of these methods ultimate goal is to foster a conscious state of enlightenment, described in ancient times (that still exists through many today) through optimal health.

Enlightened Medicine stresses the importance of intimacy and relationships that are often glossed over by Modern Medicine as well as many spiritual paths.  It creates the awareness and healing needed for expression of real intimacy and authentic feelings and deeply fosters the need that healthy relationships are integral to the healing process.  It actively roots out the issues of dysfunction in families and individuals so that new, healthier relationships can be created.

Enlightened Medicine seeks out those true spiritual masters, Divine Mothers, Spiritual beings, and gifted healers to share their gifts in an ongoing basis without competition and control in an environment that people can receive their Light, love, blessings and awakenings as part of their direct health treatments.  It fosters intensives, courses, group and individual sessions and healings for those open to receiving direct energy for healing and enlightenment as part of their health care.

Enlightened Medicine thus attempts to create a new paradigm shift in Health, Healing, Spirituality and Medicine in an already difficult and desperate medical system that has much conventional knowledge but lacks many tools, knowledge, and thought to create optimal enlightenment, wholeness, healing, and Spiritual development.

This blog post is not diagnosing or rendering treatment of any kind.  Dr. Rama is outlining his inspiration and vision of Medicine that is part of his knowledge and experience and part of the emerging body of knowledge arising out of Integrative Medicine with further insight into areas of energy healing, Yoga, and its practices on deeper Spiritual levels.

Consult your regular physicians for any and all treatments and medical questions at this time.  Thank you.
